MELANIE ALLRED
SANTA CLARA COUNTY
Melanie's journey into the field of lactation began with her own breastfeeding journey. As she breastfed all four of her children, she found herself researching and learning all she could about breastfeeding. It became second nature for her to help moms around her in their own journeys, and she loves coming alongside these women in their trials and triumphs.
She then decided to pursue lactation care professionally, and completed the Lactation Education Counselor course through UCSD. This prepared her for the ALPP's Certified Lactation Counselor exam. As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), she provides personalized breastfeeding support and guidance through convenient home visits in Morgan Hill, California. Additionally, she is passionate about breastfeeding education, and believes we all benefit when we can come together and support each other.
She also facilitates a FREE in-person support group, offering a safe space for mothers to connect, share, and thrive.
